What makes this hard

Electronics inspection is dense: many small features, close together, on a surface that reflects, at volumes where a systematic escape becomes expensive very quickly.

Solder joints in particular resist rule-based inspection. An acceptable joint is a shape within a range rather than a shape, and the range moves with process conditions.

FOCUS™ AI is trained on acceptable joints and placements across real production variation, so it flags deviations rather than mismatches against an ideal. Board-level results are returned in time to route the board before further value is added.
